Tackling Poverty

This weekend, all eyes will be on the Big Game in Miami. It’s football’s biggest stage, where the lights shine brightest. And 100 million of us will be watching.

But dreams come true in more unlikely places too, far from the spotlight.

Last summer, in partnership with Offervana and VaynerSports, three NFL pros traveled to Mexico to tackle poverty with 1MISSION.

Kyle Allen (Carolina Panthers), Peyton Barber (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), and Isaac “Ike” Yiadom (Denver Broncos) worked alongside the Gurrola Cañedo family in Puerto Peñasco. This family earned their house by serving hundreds of hours in their community. For them, this house really is a dream come true.

In December, as part of the NFL’s #MyCauseMyCleats campaign, Ike took his commitment one step further. We may be biased, but we think these kicks are pretty great.

Thanks again to Kyle, Peyton, and Ike for serving with us and helping to spread the word! And thanks to Offervana and VaynerSports for being amazing partners!
