Celebrating 200 miles and $214k of generosity!

Last month, for the thirteenth consecutive year, over 100 cyclists pedaled 200 miles from the Phoenix area all the way to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico as part of 1MISSION’s Bikes Fight Poverty charity ride. For the first time this year, we added two new ways for riders to participate, a 1DAY ride and a relay-style TEAM ride.

And now we’re proud to share our official 2022 Bikes Fight Poverty highlight video!

Bikes Fight Poverty is a lot of fun for everyone involved, from riders to volunteers to the 1MISSION team. But the reason we ultimately do it is to make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

This year, riders raised $214,774 through their online fundraising campaigns! This means many more families will soon be living in safe, secure houses of their own.

None of this would be possible without you! Thanks to each and every one of you who partners with us and the families we serve through Bikes Fight Poverty!

P.S. In case you missed it, the good people at FOX 10 were kind enough to interview us about Bikes Fight Poverty a few days before the event. Then they broadcast live from the ride launch at Refinery Christian Church. We’re thankful for their help in spreading the word!
