Why ride?

1MISSION’s Bikes Fight Poverty ride is just a month away – February 10-11 will be here before we know it! And it’s shaping up to be our best event yet. This year 120+ riders will make the trek from Phoenix, Arizona to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. Watch the video above to find out why.

Our normal registration limit of 120 riders has already been met. But there’s good news: we’ve pulled some strings and are able to open up 10 more spots. You’ll have to hurry, though – registration closes this Wednesday, January 10. That means you have two days to secure your spot!

Here’s what you need to know about registration:

  • All previous riders get a 15% discount off registration
  • Registration is $250 and includes the ride, all food and lodging, transportation, swag bag with T-shirt and jersey, and a future house build trip.
  • There is a $500 fundraising minimum. However, we offer a Family Fundraising Plan. If 2 people from the same immediate family register together, their fundraising minimum is only $750. For 3 people, the minimum is $1000, and so on.

Not able to ride all the way to Mexico? You can still join us for the big Bikes Fight Poverty team send-off!

Break out your cowbells, whistles, and vuvuzelas and join us at CityScape in downtown Phoenix (1 E Washington St) on Saturday, February 10 at 7am. Free coffee and snacks will be provided. All you need to bring is the noise!
